More than a skin, thinking customized user interface

I was thinking it would be nice to modify the details and layout of the screens. Essentially modifying the interface for my needs. Maybe something quick and easy for the home users or if they wanted to use the NPVR version.

I guess this request would be too big of a change and might be better to let KODI do this job. But to me KODI's interface is also not what I want to use. It's hard to get away from the simplicity and speed of the BEYONDTV interface. If I could emulate that in some ways that might get closer to what I was thinking of in a customizable interface.

You can already modify which elements are displayed and the layout of screens. What specifically are you wanting to do that you can't?

What exactly are you finding not simple and fast in NextPVR? Those some of the main attributes I was going for in it's UI. It could just be case of "what you're used to".
