Does anyone know of a way to get the true IPTV services like Playstation Vue or Sling TV, DirecTV Now to work with Next PVR?

Right now I used the bootleg services like Nitro IPTV or Vader Streams... they provide you with a m3u link and that is simple to setup with NPVR. The legit services I mentioned don't provide you with anything like that. You are probably wondering why I would even want to do this. Well I like to watch everything inside of Kodi..Live TV, my TV Show Library and my Movie Library all in one spot. So I figure if there is a way to get something like PlayStation Vue's channels to register in NPVR then I can run it through Kodi and that would fix all of my issue. The IPTV services I use right now are too unreliable.

Let me know any Idea's even if it includes buying some hardware.

Unfortunately no, not those types of services. They're typically very tied down, and only usable with their own apps.

So there is a psvue addon that works with Kodi. I installed it and it supposed to work with simple client... It kind of does, but for the most part there is no guide info and it doesn't always work. If you go inside of the addon the channels work perfect but if you try launching the channels from the guide, you wont get any guide info and the channel doesn't always load. But the good news is, the addon created an m3u file of my playstation vue channels. Of course I am thinking yay I can just take the m3u links and import them into NextPVR... But nope they seem to be tied to that addon some how.

I have attached a few of the channels to see if Sub or anyone can crack this lol

With Kodi running, can you try watching one of those m3u channels in NextPVR, then post the logs?

I don't have kodi and nextpvr on the same device. Next PVR is on my PC and kodi runs on my Android TV, is that going to be a problem?

for now I have a kodi logfile that I can share, but I will work on getting a nextpvr log file.

KODI LOG FILE: https://paste.kodi.tv/zefugaruna

I first streamed CNN with the psvue addon in kodi, that works with no problem.
Then I tried streaming CNN through the NextPVR in kodi, it just shows the play button like it about to play but nothing happens, and if i try to hit stop it will freeze kodi.

I will now collect a NextPVR logfile.

Here is the NextPVR log

This is the link i tried streaming

http://127.0.0.1:54321/psvue?params=http...gent=Adobe

and here is the link to the kodi thread of the psvue addon, the directions say it should work with simple client, It kind of does but there is no guide info, so it is pointless.

Thanks

The psvue plugin is creating a local server, and it's probably not accessible from another machine. There is nothing to stop you putting Kodi and the psvuew addon on your NextPVR machine, and just leaving it minimized in the background though - even though you're not using it there...it's not pretty, but could work.

You forgot to attach that log.

It depends - given the channels on this service, it wouldn't surprise me if there is a Schedules Direct lineup pretty close to this (or Schedules Direct would probably add one if you asked), which would give you the guide.

So my normal setup is NextPVR on my PC and Kodi on my Android TV (it's a Sony Bravia TV with the Android operating system). So on my TV I am able to get kodi from the play store and run the next pvr client.

With that being said can you explain what you mean about putting Kodi and the psvuew addon on my NextPVR machine?

It sounds like I would have to watch on my pc instead of my TV if this did work. I cant think of a way to install NextPVR on the Android TV
