I hope I phrased the title OK. Not exactly sure what to ask for...

I've developed a search process using Powershell and would like to schedule recordings for programs that I select from a grid list.

Can someone suggest how best to do this? I've seen hints of browser URLs like "http:\\localhost:8866\service..." Is this what I'm looking for?

Thanks.
Later...JohnC

Hi, sub.

Did some testing and got good results. Thank you.

Is there a method to test if a specific EventID is already scheduled? Sending a record request for an EventID already scheduled results in a duplicate event as shown in the Scheduled Recordings screen.

You can get the scheduled recording list with something like:
Code:
http://localhost:8866/services/service?method=recording.lists&list=pending
