Iptv freezes randomly

im haveing an issue with my iptv veiwing. freesat and freeview work fine

it seems to freeze at random intervals on live tv with the current image, I have to press esc and reload the channel for the stream to work again.

Also, with vod programs. I stream a movie it only plays half for example, it doesnt have the full stream?

i dont have these issues in vlc/kodi ect.

can any one help

When you're watching, it's effectively recording and watching the recording. We need to work out which of these two things is your problem. Are you able to record reliably?

i did try one wednesday night and got an error recording service not running at recording time. otherwise, i have been able to. my last successful recording was on the 01/06/2018 and the 30/06/2018

I had noticed that it was storeing a live tv file in C:\Users\Public\Videos there was a collection of these files in this folder my drive i had 24gb left on my drive. i had to deleted them manualy. it doesnt allways keep these files sometimes it deletes them automaticlly when iv look previously.

i have set 3 recordings whilst im at work i will see if there succesful.

so out of the 3 sceheduled recordings. only one has work the other two have failed with the error recording service not running at recording time. my scheduled recordings are saved to my d/: drive

Please go to NextPVR Settings --> About and click the button to zip the logs. Please attach the zip file to a post that tells us the time of the three programmes that you attempted to record. Thanks.

Yeah, lets start with your logs.

If you create a c:\temp directory, do you get a c:\temp\crash.mdmp when the recording service crashes?

will these files also tell you why my iptv freezes ?? as mentioned above.

Basically it sounded like your recording service crashed.

Create a c:\temp directory, and do some recordings to wherever you normally do them, and hopefully you'll get that "recording service not running at recording time" again, and hopefully there is now a c:\temp\crash.mdmp. With this file, it should help me diagnose why it crashed.

Your freezing live tv may be happening when the recording service crashes
