Poor frame rate in recordings

Watching live tv is fine but recordings are not smooth exhibiting a poorer frame rate. I am using the latest version of NextPVR and my front end is Kodi. Can I ask what are the best settings for:
Video Renderer
MPEG2 Video
H.264 Video
HEVC Video

The decoders don't make a difference to the Kodi front end.

Yep, as Martin says - when you're watching a recordings in Kodi, NextPVR just sends the file to Kodi and it's doing all it's own playback, using it's own built-in decoders etc, so these NextPVR playback settings make no difference.
