1) Purchased subscription.
2) Added lineup to Schedules Direct (USWest in my case)
3) Added channels to entries in Devices->HDHR DCR-2650/HDHR Prime
4) Listings populate properly when I update the EPG
4) When I try to watch tv, I get error message: Unable to find capture device.

The premium channels work fine on the HDHomerun Windows 10 App

What step am I missing?

Although I am not sure if sub supports the premium service yet does your Hauppauge device? Does the Silicon Dist software work?

In theory it works, but I'm not in a country that can use this service, so it's not something I've tried myself.

If you want to post the logs showing an attempt, I'll check for any problems.

What time was the attempt, and what channel did you try to watch? (if you're not sure, post new logs alone with the info)

Actually...are we talking about the same thing? From what I've read, SiliconDust's PremiumTV service is only available with the HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO/QUATRO or HDHomeRun EXTEND devices, and specifically not the HDHR Prime. See https://www.silicondust.com/support/faq/...-available

Are you maybe instead looking at "premium" channels, which are copy protected digital cable channels? 3rd party apps, like NextPVR etc, can only view your copy-freely channels. It can't access cable channels marked as copy-once/copy-never.

These are an entirely different think from the SiliconDust "PremiumTV" subscription service, which is for streaming channels from their online services (not the copy-protected channels on digital cable). See https://www.silicondust.com/premium-tv/

I have two HDHomeRun Connect Duo's and one old old HDHomerun Dual tuner. They are only hooked up to OTA antennas. I have cable but only for internet.

The "Devices" entry HDHR DCR-2650/HDHR Prime XXXXXXX is a new thing that has only popped up recently when doing a devices scan. The device numbers in the XXXXXXX part match up with my tuner ID's. Months ago, I never got those entries, I just had ATSC and QAM entries.

Those "HDHR" entries, when you do a channel scan, find the new premium channels. The ATSC and QAM entries do not find the new channels. I attached logs again. I double clicked on CNN in the TV Guide Page, chose watch and the "unable to find available capture device" message.

I am a subscriber to SiliconDust premiumTV. It works fine on my FireTV and my Win10 apps.

I think this premiumTV is the best thing to happen to NextPVR in years. It makes it a killer app. DVR cable channels and skip commericials!? Who else can do that?
I am willing to set up an old laptop and one of the tuners on a guest network and let you remote in for testing purpose if it will help get this up and running.

Ok - you only mentioned the two prime devices in your original post.

Yeah, you might need to do that - I can't see an obvious reason in the logs.

There are two problems aren't there? First you reverted http to the hdhr devices because of user problems. Also lineup.xml needed a fix to get the premium or demo channels. Were those both fixed?

As far as I know, it supports both the rtp and http interfaces on the HDHR. NextPVR is currently using the rtp interface.

According to SD this was only during the trial period they do this. It sounds like drmargarit is past that stage, and has the channels listed.
