VPN With NextPVR

Hello,
I seem to not be able to use ipvanish with Nextpvr. I am trying to use the VPN from off site when logging into Nextpvr to stream content. I am only successful when I turn off the VPN.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

You didn't provide much detail on how you are connecting web, Android or iOS client, NextPVR client etc, If it works externally with the VPN off it could be firewall related but it sounds like VPN or router forwarding issues. However if you can connect to the server and just not stream it is possible the VPN is too slow. You probably need to upload your logs.
