Delete channel groups

I can go into setting and delete channel groups for French, Italian, Polish, latino, because these aren't languages I am going to pick up any time soon. But on the drop down menu for the guide when I pull up groups, these groups still exist. How can I get rid of them?

When you go back into the Settings->Channels->Groups screen, are the groups still deleted? Did you hit 'ok' after deleting them?
