I just came across Pluto.tv, which from all I've read appears to be a free (legal) IPTV offering. It has a built-in EPG and some relatively good content. Is there any way to integrate their channels into NPVR so that we could record shows being streamed by Pluto?

Does it work for you? I've tried a couple of different browsers, and it just stays stuck at 'grab the popcorn while it's loading'. Maybe the streams are region coded, so I can't see them in NZ?

Based on the Kodi plugin source https://github.com/Lunatixz/KODI_Addons/...plutotv.py I figure there are cookies and other logic requirements needed to play these streams.

It's still not loading up for me.

If you open up the page in Chrome with the devtools visible, on the Network tab you can check if it's requesting .m3u8 urls. There is a decent chance these URLs will work in NextPVR if manually added (or written to a temp .m3u play list file and imported)

After a little googling, it looks like it is geo-locked. Unless you VPN, only available in US. I'll try the chrome dev tools and see if I can grab the .m3u8 urls.

The link in your topmost post redirects me to the European site ... so not just in the US ... but no web browser player ... it's appears that it's only available via Roku and NowTV hardware boxes.

It's playing for me on Chrome in the US, non-VPN, just by going to the URL pluto.tv. Click an item in the listings and the item plays above and has full screen options when you scroll over it.

If you haven't broken it at least once, you're not doing it right.

I can get a result in the UK using pluto.tv/watch and, among others, pluto.tv/watch/space ... but I have no clue how to find an m3u8 to try in NextPVR

I have no idea if these channels will work or not, since I can't test them myself, but you could try importing this m3u:
