NextPVR 3.3.9 addon for Kodi

@mvallevand - I saw on the kodi.tv forum that there is a 3.3.9 version of the addon. Can you share how to download it, as the latest Kodi nightly for ShieldTV (armv8a) from Dec 31 still references 3.3.8? I'd be happy to test out some of the timeshifting fixes that may be included in it.

Can you share some of the fixes as well so I know what to try to test?

The easiest way to get pre-release PVR builds is from the jenkins build system https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio...r/activity then click the top item and then the artifacts tab.

Remember that this is not a tagged 3.3.9 release so it is still pre-release. We are very happy for you and any others to provide input.

There are still problems with long skips and long pauses but it much better now.

An added bonus that is not being discussed is comskip is now working!

I was able to download and install the add-on. I've been watching an NBA game this evening for the last hour or so. I agree that it seems to be much better. I was able to rewind 4-5 min back using 10 sec skip back and had no issues. I was able to skip forward 30 seconds at a time too. I noticed the timeshift bar was adding or subtracting time appropriately now too as I skipped back 10 sec or skipped forward 30 sec.

Kodi did freeze on me once, as I skipped forward through the timeshift and was almost back to "Live TV". I had to force quit the application and restart. I tried to change channels to see if I could tune into another channel, but it was frozen. Attaching the logs, but this might be crossing into what you were considering long skips / long pauses, not sure.

Thanks for testing but you need to enable debug logging before the problem occurs. To make it easier configure your advancedsettings.xml and set loglevel to 1

<loglevel>1</loglevel>

and you will get the same logs without the OSD.
