Tried several recordings and they all stop after a few minutes. Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Eastenders. Using the latest NShared.nll

I've only looked at the most recently log file, which seems to show a recording for EastEnders.

It started the recording at 8:12pm, which is the time the recording service was started/restarted.
Quote:2019-03-18 20:12:18.851 [DEBUG][9] About to start recording (857 on 20): I:\Movies\TV\EastEnders\EastEnders_20190318_20002030-0.ts...

It recording until 8:24pm, which you stopped the recording service:
Quote:2019-03-18 20:24:50.471 [DEBUG][23] About to stop recording service
2019-03-18 20:24:50.471 [INFO][23] RecordingService.Shutdown()

Hollyoaks was recorded in the previous log file.

It was started at 6:29pm, at the scheduled time:
Quote:2019-03-18 18:29:00.406 [DEBUG][9] About to start recording (855 on 20): I:\Movies\TV\Hollyoaks\Hollyoaks_20190318_18301900.ts...

The recording was stopped at 7:02pm at the scheduled time:
Quote:2019-03-18 19:02:00.293 [DEBUG][9] Stopping recording (855 on 20). Past end time of recording.

Perhaps if his provider only supports one connection at the end of the post-padding it is killing the overlapping connection

2019-03-18 18:59:00.810 [DEBUG][9] Started recording (852:2:I:\Movies\TV\Emmerdale\Emmerdale_20190318_19001930.ts)

I could understand if the last few minutes were missing, but for it to only record the first few mins?

Have you tried playing it with other players like VLC? You should probably upload it to someplace like OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. and post a link to it so that people like Martin and/or sub can analyze the .ts file. If it really is that large, there is probably some sort of issue with it that is affecting playback to make it seem like it only recorded 1 minute.

Most likely because it started to record properly but because of your one IP issue with your provider the one minute is the pre-padding for the next show with different timestamp which screw up the time line. You probably should stop pre/post padding to see how this changes things.

As BrettB posted making the file available would help confirm this.

I think that indeed is the case. Just recorded another program with zero padding and it worked correctly. I'll change report back tomorrow how I get on recording the soaps again.
