NextPVR client / server set up

I've got everything set up and can use the NPVR GUI to watch on my local machine.
Ive also got it set up in Kodi so I can watch on all networked machines.
Using Kodi, the EPG takes quite a while to load.. Sometimes 2 minutes.
Can I load the NPVR GUI which loads very quickly on all machines as clients and connect them to my main local machine?
If yes, Is there a guide to show me how?

Kodi PVR startup speed isn't really great if you open and close the client, mine is about 2 minutes too, but there are significant guide speed improvements in v5 of NextPVR.

nlite https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...post511096 is also a good option if you just want a desktop mouse/keyboard app and there are versions for linux and mac too.
