Hauppauge HVR 1950 USB working in amd64 for ATSC.

QAM scan but no scan file created or error noted. QAM works in linux

Also analog with LIRC is working nicely with the device so I am eagerly awaiting sub's support for this and for the HDPVR in Linux

I'm only able to use USB devices with the Linux machines I've got available. (Intel NUC, RPi3, RPi4, Odroid N2)

I've been successfully using:
- WinTV-dualHD (ATSC)
- WinTV-dualHD (DVB-T/DVB-C)
- TechnoTrend S2-3650 (DVB-S/S2)
- DVBSky S960 (DVB-S/S2)

Other network tuners I've successfully been using:
- modern HDHomeRun devices, like the HDHomeRun Connect etc. DVB-T/DVB-C
- legacy HDHomeRun devices, like the original HDHomeRun dual DVB-T/DVB-C
- DigitalDevices Octopus.NET 8 tuner, SAT>IP DVB-S
- Telestar Digibit R1, SAT>IP DVB-S
- minisatip server, using WinTV dualHD, for SAT>IP DVB-C/DVB-T
- and various internet IPTV services

Twinhan VP7045 (sold in Australia by DigitalNow as the tinyusb range)
elcheapo RTL2832 USB
generic afatech 9015 tuner (digitalnow tinyusb2)

They all work in other linux dvb programs so I'd expect they'd work in nextpvr5 too, and they do. Firmware files were needed for the VP7045 and afatech devices, as per normal using them under linux.

Hauppauge HVR-1250/1270 PCI-E works in Ubuntu 18.04.03 and 19.04. ATSC and Clear QAM.
Hauppauge HVR-1600 PCI works ATSC and QAM, models 74551 & 74031 don't do QAM.

Hauppgauge 2250 dual tuner ATSC, clear QAM working in Debian Buster after installing the required firmware file. Cannot figure out how to change analog setting to default to channel 3, need to setup each boot via NextPVR in startup scripts and works as extra device but cannot use the 2250 IR blaster.

Update to my previous information: HDPVR 1212 and HVR 1950 Analog working very well as extra devices.

Realtek RTL2832 works on Ubuntu 18.04
Channel scan finds many channels but not all of them. (a TV connected to the same antenna finds more channels)

I am trying to use NextPVR 5.0.1.191214 on Linux with a Ceton InfiniTV ETH 6 network tuner device, but it is not recognized when I attempt to scan for devices.

The tuner is recognized when using NextPVR on a Windows installation with the Ceton drivers installed, so I suspect that plays a role in why it works in Windows but not Linux.

Although there is supposed to be "native" support for Ceton devices, I haven't any success with this in Linux.  As far as I can tell, there is no such thing as a Linux driver for the ETH6 network tuner devices, so is this just a non-working configuration?

There is no native support for the Cetons in NextPVR but I can likely get it working for you as an extra if you are running an x86 Linux. If you are interested open a new thread and we can continue there.

Thanks!  I do in fact run Linux on x86 - I've created a new thread to continue this discussion further - thanks for your support!
