NextEnd v5 trial release

Started recording world series tonight and was also watching it live. NextEnd didn't extend the recording and it stopped at the scheduled time slot in the guide. Nextend.log shows an entry for 2019 World Series but the nextend-monitor.log shows it wasn't monitoring the game.

Any ideas? Will try again the next game.

I checked tomorrow's game and it looks like it is monitoring. Don't worry about the monitor that is for non-sports extending after games the nextend in parallel processing does the work. If you need more explanation I'd need the logs.

The new 3 step attachment process takes getting used to but it's ok, it's in the nrecord.log.

When you did the install did you make sure that all the dlls where installed?

If you post your new logs I might be able to give you a command line to test.

I assumed they were all there but I'll check when I get home.

So, do you want me to verify the files then restart the service and post the logs?

Also, I found that I didn't have port forwarding configured correctly because I couldn't connect with the android app today. I fixed that so now I can connect to v5. Would that prevent Nextend from working properly?

Just starting the server won't help test since the error only happens when it connects to the server but if the dll's are with it it should work.

NextEnd works on localhost so port forwarding shouldn't be an issue.

The file hostfxr.dll was missing from NPVR-data/Plugins/NexEnd folder so maybe that's why it didn't work before. Copied that file to the folder and scheduled a recording of NFL game. Nextend seems to be working now. The game ended early so nothing was extended as expected.

Tomorrow's world series game will likely get extended so I'll see if that works.

I have it configured without Netcore 2.2 per step B and use the default program location.
