I changed my password on Schedules Direct, and now my Guide on NextPVR isn't populating.

When I run it manually in command line, this is what I get.

:\mc2xml>mc2xml.exe
Loading ..... : mc2xml © <mc2xml@gmail.com> (v1.4)
Reminder .... : Unauthorized redistribution prohibited.
Reminder .... : If this software is useful, please donate!
Reading ..... : mc2xml.dat
Downloading . : schedulesdirect.org
Error ....... : Invalid username or password <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Seems straight forward right? Here is my issue.

When I look at the .bat that invokes the .exe this is the information contained.

mc2xml.exe -t 468a3aa03b5d<OMMITTED>330c10de9a98c6B659 -o "tvguide.xml" -d 168 -s -6

-t is the User/Pass, and I don't recall where I got this long number from?

I know my new password for schedules direct, but how did I get this long string for my password last year? I just don't remember what I did to set it up.

Thanks,

David

Is there a reason why you aren't just using the built-in Schedules Direct support? It is easier (and more functional--i.e. artwork downloading) if you use the built-in SD support.

Probably worth having a look at the mc2xml documentation.

http://mc2xml.awardspace.info/

It sounds like mc2xml stores your username and password to mc2xml.dat.

Also, it sounds "-t xxxxx" is getting listing from titantv, and you might need to user "-T <user>:<pass>" instead for Schedules Direct? I've never used mc2xml, so can't tell you much more than that.

Technically if you are using mc2xml from a NextPVR perspective you are using xmltv and it would not have a clue how you set up updateepg.bat

Thanks... I set this up years ago.... but I updated NextPVR to the latest, and now I see schedules direct integration.. Filled out my User/Pass there, and selected my zip code... From there selected OTA, and now have all my channels auto-populated.

At this point I can get rid of all the command line integration.

Thanks,

David

You didn't specify what you mean by "to the latest". I'm guessing you mean the current v4 production release not a v5 beta release. But you might want to clarify.

Also, I think that you might still need to change the EPG mapping for your channels from the old XMLTV file to the Scheduled Direct. Maybe you already did that when you say "now have all my channels auto-populated".

You probably also want to rename your updateepg.bat file to something like updateepg-old.bat so that the system doesn't try to connect to SD with an invalid user/pass combination every time the EPG update is run.

And if you want to be sure that it is all working ok. After renaming the updateepg.bat file, go into the setting and Empty EPG then Reload EPG. Then check your TV Guide and make sure that the schedules have been populated.
