Just wanted to post that I decided to try this on my Synology NAS as I slowly try to deprecate the dedicated desktop I have been using for the last 5 years or so.

Using the install instructions it was trivial to get the image up and running, my only difficulties so far have been having to use http://<my server>/index.html and looking up the default username and password.

It automatically picked up my HDHomerun devices despite their age (I used the extra parameters for the container and my home network is 192.168.1.x) and it took all of 5 minutes to import SchedulesDirect and begin watching an episode of Babylon 5!

I am a little concerned to see if the CPU will keep up with multiple streams as it is hovering between 60% and 70% CPU watching a single stream so I'll have to play with it and see how it does.

Just wanted to provide a few Kudos for the work so far.

Great - glad to hear it was working for you.

Was this viewing in the web app? Ultimately that does use quite a bit of CPU, since it needs to transcode to a format that a web playback can view. Using a client that can play a native stream uses very little CPU

Yes, it was watching in chrome. Once I closed the browser I was recording 4 HD streams (3 GB each for 30 min) with very little CPU.

I did get that a transcode error and an unable to acquire device or something when I tried to watch one of the channels I was recording. All of the tuners were busy though so I kind of expected it. I can repeat it and get a log if you want, but I don't expect it is a high priority corner case.
