I record a show and the in PostProcessing.sh I convert the ts to mp4. I also use comskip, in ParallelProcessing.sh. All the files have the same base, the filename of the ts file, without the extension.

If I delete the recording the .ts and all the files generated by comskip are deleted, but my mp4 is not deleted.

Should it be deleted? Is there a script/hook or something that I can use to delete extra files when I delete a recording?

NextPVR does have a wiki and much of the information applies to v4 and v5

Because the wiki is gone and not sure when it will be back you need to use the Google cache or wayback machine to get the wiki.

Figured out how to mount a windows network share using cifs. If anyone is following this thread, make sure to reboot before mounting the drive.

Martin, I'm getting an error that the database is read only. Is there any issue with me trying to change that permission to get your script to work?

Thanks,

Are you running the script as sudo assuming you haven't given yourself rights to /var/opt/nextpvr

You should not need to reboot to mount a share but you do need to remount after changing fstab.

Good point, I had to reboot after install the app to mount the network drive. Not sure why but it worked, could be a coincidence.  Also I apologize, I accidentally posted in the wrong thread.  Didn't think about sudo, was running the script you wrote manually.
