I've had a few reports of this. I'm investigating.

I'm guessing you found something because I just several emails from the past couple of days. Smile

While you're looking at the email section, is there a way to get more of the message included? As a sample:
Code:
Here is an excerpt of the message: ------------------------------------------ I'm not getting Emails. I went in and clicked the “change email” and put it in again, but never got… (visit the thread to read more…)

We don't get much of the message. And the "… (visit the thread to read more&hellipWink" seems like something isn't configured quite right.

Yep, I'm on the track of the emails not sending reliably. Should have it sorted soon.

I can't seen any obvious place to change the content of what mybb is sending, but I'll look into it further.

RE: Attachments not copied over.

Not too big of a deal. Someone PMed me the other day asking "where is VideoConduit" after they scoured the internet (web, torrents, etc). I was confused until I read this thread.

I did have to recreate a screenshot for my VideoConduit util and found the .zip on my PC and re-uploaded them.

There were a few formatting snafus with the migrated data (paragraph intro headings being microscopic), and phantom/empty sub bullet points, but nothing that wasn't insurmountable.

Still not reliably getting emails on new posts, responses, etc. I DO get some, but not all even though all my subscriptions are "Instant Email Notification".

I’m not seeing any errors in the weekly email reports. Have you checked your spam folder?

Yeah, don't see anything there. It's hit or miss. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't. Could be gmail I suppose, but all else seems to work OK. It's frustrating when you guys respond to something and I don't know about it.

One thing I miss about the previous forum software is that a user's location was displayed in posts, making it obvious that NextPVR's user base is international. I would encourage members to fill out Location in their Profile in any case, and maybe sub would consider making location appear in posts again.

I had looked at this previously, and been unable to work out how to get it to show in the post. I've just taken another look and got it going. I've also made location a required setting for new registrations.

It'd be helpful if existing users could set their Location if they haven't already. Click your username in the top right of the page, select 'User CP', select 'Edit Profile' then set the Location and hit save.

Yay! Thanks, sub.
