This is pretty much the same build as 4.2.4, but rolls in a couple of IPTV patches that been posted since 4.2.4

Please post any support issues in the support forum. Support questions posted in this thread will be deleted.

- fixed issue with user agent with some IPTV providers
- updated IPTV support to handle some of the changes that happened to IPTV streams in the last month
- fixed issue with IPTV 301/302 redirect used by some IPTV providers

I just installed 4.2.5 191014, but it says there's a new version 4.2.5 190307. I'm assuming this is a bug or some kind of version confusion? 190307 sounds like a lower version, not a newer version.

any chance this added support for the episode numbers and first aired date to the API calls like V5 beta has? I have a fork of the kodi addon working and pushing the data from v5 into the pvr guide but im not ready to switch to v5 yet so i havent made a pull request for it.

Sorry, no. The API calls are unchanged. You'd need v5 for those extra attributes.

For the most part 4.2.5 was just about fixing some stuff that IPTV providers broken with recent changes.
