channel edits

Hello everyone,
Is there a way to do a global channel edit and EPG mapping other then using 
Settings-Channels-Details-popup window?

I have found that in ver 4.2.4 and 4.2.5 when I do the above it lags (takes forever to pull up) when you press details to pull up a channel to edit.  Very 4.2.3 does not do this.

Is this with IPTV EPG source? It doesn't really like working with huge files that have to be downloaded fro the internet each time you open this screen.

v5 has some stuff to cache these channel lineups between calls so is quicker at working with this type of thing.

(I don't remember 4.2.3 ever being any better)

It is quicker to respond in 4.2.3. What file holds the channel info so I may try to edit it so I do not have to always go into settings to edit each channel manually?
