Is there a way to use direct play on the web interface? My phone will play iptv but web cannot at times.

Some streams work, others display :

Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)

Use v5 for improved IPTV support which will be direct play.

Are there any plans to improve the web/android interface to be closer to something like Perfect Player? I plan on continuing to support the dev for his awesome program but was curious if that is in the plans.

I added a bigger buffer to nextpvr in the settings. Does v5 also support modifying the buffer. Perhaps to an even bigger size?

Sub is continuing to improve the players for v5 on all platform and has posted this many times.

Right now Kodi is best for non-transcoding use.

I ask this question because shows I want to record would likely work better with a bigger buffer.  Can this be adjusted in the ini?

It's unknown what client you are posting about, what version of NextPVR you or on, what kind of streams you are streaming or what problem you expect buffering will fix. Typically buffering helps slow networks that can't handle the bit rate something Direct Play hurts not helps.

That is why I should have waited for you to post logs.

I am talking about some inefficient iptv channels. I am not talking about transcoding. I was just seeing if a buffer size was amendable.

Your logs would indicate if the buffer was the issue. I give up.
