Live TV not working

I have used the software for years with a HDPrime with no problems.  All of a sudden, live TV will not work.  In addition, I record the late night shows.  Steven Colbert is the only one that will not record, as I'm getting an error message that signal can not lock.  I have Xfinity and use a cable card.  Any ideas?

If it just started and you're using cable, then it is probably a problem with the cable signal. Check all of your connections and remove any unnecessary splitters. It could be that the signal was "weak" before, but working.

Also, when you have a recording (or live tv) not working, connect to the HDHR Prime's webpage and look at the tuner status there. It should indicate the signal strength, etc.

Make sure to use the button on the settings screen to get the logs. That will generate a .zip archive which you can upload here.

I didn't see the Colbert issue but for Live TV, I would use the option to only send active pids.

Do recordings on the channels that you can't use for Live TV play ok? If so, your provider may have moved to h264 and you would need to change the setting on those channels. During a recording you can hit Ctrl-I to see the video format.
