no groups at top just all channels, channel.list does not pull logos but they show is webui and are in the m3u

Are there actually channels in the groups that you have? They alll look blank to me

I don't think NextPVR automatically adds channels to the m3u group name that is your responsibility.

In the channel list display in the browser does it say true or false to the icons

the logos are there, but the only group that has any channels is all channels ... so you have to populate all the groups manually?

I don't know if sub manually populates the channels in the m3u groups when he creates them but from what I see it doesn't look like he does.

I might not have been clear, I wasn't asking if the logos are there I was asking if http://192.168.xx.xx:8866/service?method=channel.list shows text to indicating

<icon>true</icon>

As I posted you might need to reset the pvr database if they have been downloaded since the list was loaded into Kodi.

No, normally they'd all be populated automatically.

Have you changed IPTV providers in your experiments? I know there is a bug that NextPVR can leave groups in the database after removing an IPTV lineup, and switching to a different IPTV provider. (so it ends up with empty groups)

i did try to load it last night direct from the url, but the list had 53000 links so it kept crashing. so it edited the m3u and use the pared down list.. should i start again?

Maybe stop the software, delete your npvr.db3, and restart it, so it'll create a new one, then reimport your m3u/xml. Make sure to use the 'filter by channel group' dropdown during the import to only import the groups you're really interested in.

(NOTE: that will get rid of any recordings etc too)
