Hi, I am a long time user of TVHeadend, using DVB-C card in the UK, Live TV, BBCiPlayer and Youtube add-ons. I would like to use V.5 if possible but have some questions.

1. Is there a BBC iPlayer add on, and does it work well?
2. Is there a Youtube add on, and does it work well?
3. I would like to manually edit the tuning files, to add my own, I read there are .ini files somewhere, where are they located on Linux?
4. anyone know of a good Softcam guide?

Kind regards.

1. Could you provide a link to this addon?
2. I use YouTube with youtube downloader as an extra and it works very well with static youtube id's
3. In in the case of dvbc it would bes /usr/share/dvb/dvb-c/
4. Only if you set up sat-ip or a http proxy

Apologies, I didn't give enough info, and once I thought about it, 2 of my questions were rubbish, sorry about that.
I have been using TVHeadend as backend, and Kodi as frontend, happy to continue using Kodi, so BBCiplayer and Youtube are all good to stay as is.
Sorry about that.
I found the tuning files, thanks.
For the softCam, can you elaborate please on 'Only if you set up sat-ip or a http proxy', in TVheadend it has a section in there for this.

There is no built-in softcam functionality at this stage.

There is the possibility you could work around this by using minisatip or SATPI. ie, in this situation NextPVR would access your tuner as a sat>ip device, and these server apps would take care of the softcam function
