Export recordings to a new DVR

OK everyone,
I need some help.  I thought I did everything right in exporting a recording from one machine to another machine.

I copied the .ts file from 
c:/temp of the first machine and copied it to the same c:/temp of the second machine.

I then did a export recordings.  Copied the recording-backup file and sent it to the second machine.

I then did a import recording  on the second machine and it gave me a no recordings copied.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what went wrong.

As long as the file name is the same on the source and destination, you should be able to import the recordings-backup.xml

Ok This is weird. I am able to import the xml data of reoccurring recordings.xml into NextPVR and I am able to see the reoccurring recording names within Next PVR but am not able to import recorded recordings even though I have transferred the recorded recording in the same dir as it was in the old machine.

Post the logs after the attempt and I'll see if anything stands out.

Your file names must not be the same.

Oik, That was the recurring recordings that I did not transfer the files. How about the recorded recordings. I am looking for Girl 6. That file I did transfer to the new machine but came back no recordings imported.

No - that was recordings. (not recurring)

That was it trying to import recording-backup.xml, and those were the filenames of your recordings. It was saying these recordings did not import, because the file did not exist.

I am looking for Girl 6.

Look in your C:\Users\user1\Downloads\recording-backup.xml, for the list of files it's looking for.

I figured it out. I was not transferring the recordings and recurring recordings xml files into the NPVR directory. I was just doing the import function within the program.
