Far as I can tell, according to the guide, every program is NEW. Seems pretty unlikely for NZ (and AU). Anyone else ?

Maybe you ticked Highlight 'new' shows on the Settings->General page? That is for users who have data with the flag.

Anyone else ?The application assumes every show is new unless it knows otherwise. Unfortunately only some guide sources provide this info, so for other guide sources everything is new. As Martin suggested, basically untick that setting so you don't get the in-your-face indicators of everything being new.

I didn't have it ticked, but as you say, it defaults to new, so going too the detailed info screen shows new for everything. Also it gets passed to Emby were it also shows everything new unless I untick options there as well.
Thanks for the info, guess it has to default to something.

Based on my comments here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/...ntry754853 you would have had to have it ticked to see the New in Emby but I need to check the code, it has been a while. Martin

Yes I did have it ticked. I think it started showing up with every program fairly recently without me changing any settings but can't unfortunately define recently. I was going to mention it in their forum till it occurred its passed through from NextPVR.

The default is for that setting to be off. The behavior should have been the same pretty much forever (and exactly why the setting exists - since it's a pain to see 'new' on everthing). You must have turned it on around the time you first noticed it.

This feature will no doubt be confusing to Kodi users as more people start using Matrix.

But turning it off fixes it up, and the guide info I get is free, so.... |
