Artwork types for recordings in kodi

Somehow landscape art is displayed for a few of my recordings in kodi (with the arctic horizon skin) and I've been trying to work out how it happened as it won't do it for any new recordings.
Do you know how to get this to work?
It seems for new recordings I'm only getting artwork sent as icons rather than landscape or poster (hence the padding on the "flushed away poster" artwork)

Using kodi 18.6 and nextpvr 5.0

The addon populates three fields for recordings and it is up the skin to choose which one to display. If NextPVR doesn't have the requested type it will send the other

I am guessing that the skin doesn't think it is a series so it is displaying poster art.

Hi thanks for the reply. I have checked the nextpvr log files and it appears the fanart files are being requested and sent - im not sure why the skin isn't displaying them though 

Do you know of any kodi skins that currently work with nextpvr fanart/landscape artwork files for recordings so I can do some more testing.

Estuary is the baseline for all testing and new features.

You could also check to see if the media/shows/Flushed Away.fanart.jpg exists and that it is landscape.

Awesome thanks - I didn't realise the default skin displayed the fanart in the background. 
I can confirm it works in estuary, so it looks like something is going wrong in the skin somewhere.
