Viewing the announcements subforum

I noticed something a bit odd. When I'm not logged into the forums I can see and read the announcements subforum just fine. As soon as I log in it tells me I don't have permission to see that subforum. If I then log out I can view it again.

I just discovered that from another user yesterday. The settings looks like you should be able to see these. I have made one small tweak to see if it makes a difference.

Looks like whatever you tweaked fixed the issue for me. I'm now able to see the subforum logged in. Thanks!
