Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is a bug, or supposed to be like this.
In devices, if I disable one of the IPTV entries, those channels still appear in the TV Guide.
Even if I clear the EPG and Re-Import, they are still there.
The only way is to delete the relevant IPTV stream from the devices list.

Is it supposed to be like that?
Is there a possibility we could hide disabled stream in the TV Guide (even if it's a selectable option in settings).

Happy to provide screengrabs/etc if required.

I believe that this is intended behavior. Disabling a device is generally viewed a being a "temporary" thing (otherwise you would simply delete the device). So you could/would still want to be able to schedule things in the future when the device is available again, etc.

You didn't really indicate what your goal is. So we can't really advise you too much. If you just want to eliminate channels from the TV Guide, you could delete the channel rather than disabling the device. That would remove it from the TV Guide.

It's mainly me testing things at the moment... with importing groups of channels, also using xTeve and groups within xTeve.
I wanted to see what solution was working best for me, so hoped that I could set up various different IPTV entries.. disable them.. enable one by one, test, disable, enable the next one, test.. and then remove the ones I didn't want and just re-enable the ones I did want.

It was only a time saving thing..as can take a few minutes when importing something with over 50000 entries and then filtering it within NextPVR.
That's why I wondered if an optional tickbox in settings "Don't display disabled streams within guide" was possible, as it may only be for a minority of users such as myself, but would be a nice/handy function to have.

Or as another example.
If I have multiple IPTV services, but they display many of the same channels.. to have each service as it's own entry.. but disable the ones I don't need (so not lots of repeating entries in the guide), and if one service goes down, simply disable that one, enable another, update EPG guide and continue.

If multiple IPTV services have the same channel, then the "proper" way to handle it in NextPVR would be to merge those channels. That way it would only show up in the guide once and the server could use any of the available sources to record/play it and if one source wasn't available, it would use another one.
