While watching TV.. right click and select "channels".  A box is supposed to popup with all the ASTC channel listings.  Used to work fine but seems to have stopped working in this release.

Same thing with PIP.  Nothing happens after you select PIP.  This used to also work.

I tried reinstalling this version by rerunning the installer but it made no difference.  Is there something I am missing?

Don't have an answer for you however I can confirm my own system is working fine. ( I just typed that and realize that sounds not at all helpful)  <grin>

I have he same version 4  as you.  Original install was over 4 years ago. Have been updating and using it since .. it is a dedicated HTPC run 24/7 and is never turned off.  No problems.  I did just check it out here, (it's currently recording two shows) and my picture in picture is working fine as well as closed captioning etc.  The "channel option" you mention also works normally.

If I had to guess (IMHO) something in your windows system has changed which is affecting your Nextpvr.   I'd look for recently installed windows updates or newly added programs or utilities.   I have very minor issues from time to time with vs 4 ... none serious and usually fixed easily.  Probably only 3 or 4 times in the last four years.   Been extremely reliable.   I'm running windows 7 pro 32 bit and am now testing a brand new PC I just built with Win 10.  Currently having some difficulty getting NPVR version 5 to run there.  Have thread in the version 5 forum area started.

But the old win 7 HTPC (which is still running 24/7) is working fine for me.

My guess is that it is showing this window, but it's off the edge of your screen.

What is in your <ChannelSelectorPos> setting in config.xml?

<ChannelSelectorPinned>true</ChannelSelectorPinned>

    <ChannelSelectorPos>1774,85,138,630</ChannelSelectorPos>

Brilliant guess.  I decided to check the master config don't edit file... and found the same setting substantially different  916,220,266,501.  When I pasted these numbers into the config.xml file the missing channel box reappeared  on screen and surprise... the Pip works again too.

Thank you so much.

ok great.

At some stage you must have been running a slightly higher resolution, or multiple monitors, and you've moved it to that location, and it was no longer a location that was visible to you.

Yes these work too.. puts it at the left side of the screen.. instead of the previous numbers at the right side.
