Hi just installed Nextpvr 5 on my Ubuntu 18.04 system, it discovered my Telestar Digibit R1 sat-ip box and I started a scan but it has only fount 12 channels on the first transponder (28.2E) and none on the remaining transponders.
THe sat-ip box works perfectly with Tvheadend finding over 1000 channels, however I tried yesterday with Nextpvr 5 on my Windows 10 machine and also only found 12 channels on the first transponder and none on the rest.
Any idea where I am going wrong?

I got a new SAT>IP device setup yesterday, and it's exhibiting the same behaviour. I'm investigating.

My other device, the DigitalDevices Octopus, doesn't do this. It successfully finds all the channels.

Hi,

i found that thread while searching how to get my Sat Signal from the Roof to my cellar, because both Sat Cable are broken. I have Gigabit Network Port free on the Roof and i am looking for a Device wich "translates" the Sat Signal to a Networkprotocol, wich i can use with NextPVR.

You talked about Octopus Net S2 and Telestar Digit R1, will both devices work?

Yes, should do. My Telestar Digibit R1 died about a year ago, so I haven't tested that specific type of device in a while.

So the Problem described in this Thread doesnt exist anymore?

I don't think so. This was pretty early in the NextPVR v5 life. A lot has changed since then.

It appears you have NextPVR and your Sat>IP device on a different subnet from your browser. Is that expected?
