Client keyboard not changing to certain channels

During live TV, I do enjoy being able to just key in another channel without having to right-click for a channel list. But NextPVR does not allow a change to channel 502.2 which can only be moved to by right-clicking.

Can this be fixed for the next release?

I am trying to link it to a problem with dot character given that sub doesn't have those in NZ. I have reported this before. A work around is to open the popup guide type 502 and navigate to .2

I did wonder about this. The lack of "." key on remotes was the primary reason this has never been supported in the past.
