I do not know what happened. I had a working setup and suddenly it stopped working.

There is nothing I can point to and say "I did that" so have no roll back plan. Only option may be Windows updates. <shrug>

When I tried to play a channel I would get a message starting device and nothing beyond that. I went to the settings page and all my channels were still listed. I changed USB ports and Windows pop up indicated successful addition so I tried to set up the new device but it would not find any channels.

In the end I deleted NextPVR and reinstalled. There is now just one DVB-T device and the IPTV listing as well but still no channels being found.

Logs attached.
Hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction.

Thank you
Cheers,

In the logs it just looks like there is no signal.

Is the antenna definitely connected?

Have you tried scanning Australia / All Regions, instead of just scanning Perth? (in case the frequencies are out of date for your region)

Check with TV input and the TV is receiving channels from same splitter. Put dongle back into original port to rule that out and scanned "All Countries/All Regions" with no success.

Is there any way I easily check the tuner?

I would do a test scan after removing all splitters and extension aerial cables (moving the computer if necessary) .  It is widely reported that the tuners in TVs are more sensitive than the tuners in comuter devices.

As mentioned above, maybe try without the splitter. The tuners in PC products are often smaller, and not as good as those in TVs.

Maybe try the software that came with your device to double check.

I think my tuner may have gone faulty. Tried it on a Win 7 machine with WMC and it said no TV tuner available.

Time to start more investigation.

Thank you for your help.

Ended up reflowing the solder on the aerial connector and it burst into life again. Must have bumped it at some point to cause a dry joint.
