As the title states - NPVR is unable to detect the HDHR Connect Quatro running on my network.

I am running NPVR via Synology Docker. I ran through the install instructions twice, once with and once without the additional -env setting. Neither installation could detect my HDHR. The log snippet below shows the HDHR never seems to respond to the query. Perhaps I missed something during setup?  The current container settings are attached.

Why aren't you use the current docker release?

I could swear I had the latest. Or, at least I assumed I'd get the latest version by downloading from Docker Hub?

EDIT: Looks like Docker Hub is a month old...

There is a version called latest which isn't. You want to use the version called stable.

Switched to Stable.  Still a challenge, although now with a different error.

Code:
[1] Error discovering HDHR devices: The operation has timed out.
[1]
[1] Unexpected error with HDHR discovery: Newtonsoft.Json.JsonReaderException: Error reading JArray from JsonReader. Path '', line 0, position 0.
   at Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JArray.Load(JsonReader reader, JsonLoadSettings settings)
   at Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JArray.Parse(String json, JsonLoadSettings settings)
   at NShared.Utility.HDHomeRun.Discover(String specificDeviceID)

Side note - I noticed sub's instructions actually contain "latest" in the docker run command code.

Code:
docker run -d \
    --name nextpvr \
    --volume /home/pi/config:/config \
    --volume /home/pi/videos:/recordings \
    --volume /home/pi/videos:/buffer \
    --restart unless-stopped \
    --publish 16891:16891/udp \
    --publish 8866:8866 \
    nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64:latest

Two other places in the same post said "nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64: stable". I must have forgot to correct this other mention of it. I've fixed it fixed it now though.

For some reason, it looks like your docker instance is unable to get to that url:

Quote:2020-07-22 21:45:31 stdout at NShared.Utility.HDHomeRun.Discover(String specificDeviceID)
2020-07-22 21:45:31 stdout at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadString(Uri address)

Any chance I may need to open additional ports?
