Hello,
Newbie here.  I'm installing KODI and NextPVR on my HTPC to replace Windows Media Center before I "upgrade" to Windows 10 and lose media center.  NextPVR finds my Hauppauge 2250 card with no problems.  It doesn't seem to find my Cat's Eye 164e at all.  I can't find a BDA driver for the Cat's Eye.  Unfortunately, the Cat's Eye will pick up one weak channel the the 2250 won't receive.  It just happens to be a channel that we watch a lot.  Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use the Cat's Eye 164e with NextPVR, and if so, what I need to do to use it?  I found a post from 2006 where Dave47 wrote a dba.ini file to do this, but I have no idea where to put the information in order to use it.

That filter check output looks like it has drivers installed. Can you post the NextPVR logs? I'll check if it sees the device.

Not sure which logs you are wanting, so I'm sending all that I found.  The computer is still running Windows 7.  I found these log files in the c:\users\public\NVPR-data\logs folder.

Thanks for all of you help.

That explains it well, the sqlite call doesn't seem to like drivers with an apostrophe in the same.

Can you let me know if this updated NShared.dll fixes it?

Renamed NShared.dll to NShared.old and copied the new NShared.dll to the NextPVR folder.  Started NextPVR Client then went to settings then opened devices and channels. Clicked on devices.  I now show my Hauppauge tuners with 4 entries for the Cat's Eye 164e showing as unavailable. Screen goes blank and nothing happens when I click on any of them.  Rebooted the computer and started NextPVR Client. Went to settings then opened devices and channels. Clicked on devices.  I now show 8 entries for the Cat's Eye 164e.  Four of them are showing as unavailable.

Rebooted the computer again and started NextPVR Client. Went to settings then opened devices and channels. Clicked on devices.  I now show 12 entries for the Cat's Eye 164e. Eight of them are showing as unavailable.  See the attached screen save.  Everytime I reboot the computer, 4 more entries show up.  Nothing happens when I click on any of them.
