Hey there.  My first post, so hopefully this is the correct place!

Was wondering if there was a way to add the function of 30 second skip 10 second back skip (or similar).  Would be nice for commercial breaks etc.

Thanks for a wonderful program!

It's kind of difficult to add features like this with the Apple TV remote, due to so few buttons etc.

I understand, however I know Hulu and Netflix both have this function.  So it must be possible. Smile

If the video is currently playing, and you touch (without pressing down) the left side or right side of the remote, it will skip 10 seconds.  I did notice that both are 10 seconds (forward and backward).  So, I am not sure if apple limits this by design or if both Hulu and Netflix just copied each other Smile .  After the icon comes up showing the 10 second skip function, you click the track pad and it jumps 10 seconds. (See Image)

Ok, I'll try to implement something like that.

Awesome!  Really would appreciate it!

Also, on a another question I had, when fast forwarding/rewinding, on Hulu and Netflix, it shows a picture of where you're at.  I am not sure if this is possible on local streaming of recordings or if it's the way there videos are stored?  Maybe information is embedded into the videos that allows this?  Not sure.  But, would be cool to see this maybe if possible as well?  I can send a screenshot if you need of what I'm talking about if you like?
