Can channels be added or deleted?

I had used the initial channel setup to establish channels, so I don't know how channels works in here in regard to adding or subtracting, and I didn't see anything in the wiki about it. Can any channels be added to the guide or deleted, one channel at a time?

Adding channels is via rescanning the same source.

Removing channels i s via the left column of check boxes. Click the top left box twice twice to clear the list (very important), check the boxes you want to delete and then click the trash can at the top right. Make sure the count of stations you delete is accurate.

I'm lost. My xmltv file has the channel in question, but the guide lacks the channel. After doing epg update, still no channel. I see a rescan for devices, but that doesn't make any changes. How do I rescan for channels?

Is the problem that a local channel not getting automatically mapped to the guide? If so you can do a manual map clicking the wrench.

I don't get it. I'm looking to insert 14.3 between 13.3 and 20.1. If I click on 13.3 and type in 14.3, will I lose 13.3? I don't understand how this works. Since 14.3 is not in the list, how do I click a wrench for it?

You can't just add a channel, like I posted earlier you need to rescan. If it doesn't exist after a scan you probably need to adjust your antenna.

After you rescan, untick the found results and then tick the channel you want to add. It will get added to the list of existing channels when you click save.

I do feel having existing channels mixed with the found channels is a bit confusing but not something you do often.

When it comes to ATSC channels, you need to scan for them, rather than manually adding them.

If it's not finding a station you're hoping to get, it's likely because your signal is not strong enough, so the tuner isn't locking onto the channel.

So how do I scan then? I go to Settings, Channels? Then what? I just don't see it.
