My first issue has been fixed now a new one Big Grin

I have two DVB-t2 tuners, TVbulter and a PCTV 292e nanostick

of course tvbutler is seen by tvmosaic and the PCTV 292e is seen by video station.

neither tuner is showing in devices

Do I need to do anything extra to get them to show up?

my version of nextpvr

Version: 5.0.7.200726

Updated logfiles attached.

Have you configured and used these devices in a docker before? You will need to pass through the /dev/dvb devices so they show up in the docker.

I saw this https://forums.plex.tv/t/tv-butler-thing.../195130/15 which seems to indicate that changing permissions on a system file might help. search with Plex docker and TV Butler might give you so more things to try.

Hi Martin,

I am looking into that thanks.

But currently this tuner is not working(never expected it to).

My other tuner is working fine now so at least I have one working so far!

Thanks for all the help

Hello, I also have no tuners in my docker NextPVR backend on Libreelec.

I am using a TBS card which works fine in awful TVHeadend backend PVR server when I select the TBS drivers using the Librelec driver selector addon.

How do I pass through my TBS drivers to the docker image? I looked at the previous plex forum link but nothing pops out / works...

Thanks, NextPVR is essential!

Did you pass /dev/dvb as I posted above?

Hello, I got it working by adding the following to my Docker config

--device /dev/dvb/adapter0 \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter1 \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter2 \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter3 \

They now appear in Devices however it doesn't pick up any DVB-T2 HD channels when it should and other pvr backends have (even NextPVR backend on windows has).

However more importantly, though I can confirm through the browser that channels have scanned and allocated to tuners and I can play TV in the browser... when I go to add the NextPVR PVR client, it works upon installation or when I disable and re-enable it but it NEVER works after a reboot. After I reboot it pops up and says...

PVR clients: NextPVR Client
Add-on couldn't be loaded.
An unknown error has occurred.

Any ideas? WIth TVheadend I think there were options to delay frontend until backend (in this case Docker + NextPVR PCR backend) was ready. Is that was it the issue here as when I go to disable and re-enable the NextPVR client, it works fine.

Log...
https://paste.kodi.tv/saqeciwuvi

This looks interesting to me...
Code:
DEBUG: cb_connection_state_change: State for connection 'Could not connect to server' on client 'NextPVR PVR Client' changed from '0' to '1'

Thanks!

Perhaps you need to find an updated T2 scanning table for your region. Windows and linux don't us the same tables.

You posted without mentionning Kodi once you should be clearer for the support people here who may not understand your issue

For LE there is an option to delay startup until the network is available. In the next Matrix release(just waiting for approval) the addon will automatically connect on its own after boot.
