Hey there!

Since yesterday for a reason I can't explain, I'm unable to tune my HDHR dual from NPVR 5 latest version.

Oddly, I can tune any of my channels in the HDHR Windows client. Also, I have no problem tuning my Extend from NPVR, only the Dual. Logs are attached. If anyone could help would be appreciated!

Go to http://192.168.4.234 and check the error logs.

Thanks for your reply. When I go to the Dual's IP, I get a simple page with Device ID, Firmware version, and just two choices: Download Drivers and Installation Instructions.

Is there any other way to get HDHR dual's logs?

Ok that could be a legacy device. Are you sure this worked before? NextPVR is trying to access it in HDHR mode which it http.

I used NPVR 4 until I formatted my PC 2 week ago. I installed NPV5 and it worked at first, then stopped working.

Yes it's a legacy device, HDHR3-US. Is there any way to connect other than http? If I roll back to NPVR 4 will I be fine?

Ok maybe when you installed you copied the other newer device. Delete the legacy device and this time don't copy, select it as an ATSC device.

I just deleted all HDHR tuners under Devices holding ctrl key, restarted NPVR process, then rescanned for Devices. Scanned them for channels and tried to watch them right away in NPVR's player and Kodi, with same results. Logs attached if you still want to help... Thanks for everything!

When you re-setup the HDHRs, for the legacy device did you do as Martin said and use the ATSC version of it rather than the HDHR version of it? It looks like you're missing the HDHR utility which would be used by the HDHR version to access a legacy device:
Code:
2020-08-22 10:34:48.401 [ERROR][4] Could not find C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config.exe

So you might fix the problem by installing the HDHR Windows Software (NOT the HDHR Windows APP).

Goddamnit you just solved my problem!!! Thank you so much! I didn't think I had to reinstall the soft onto the server for it to work. I was accessing both HDHRs with HDHR Tech and everything seemed fine from there... Thank you!!!

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain, but hdhomerun_config.exe is required for these older legacy HDHR devices. Glad you got to the bottom of it.
