Hi,

I'm new to NextPVR and struggling to scan for West Midlands freesat channels.

Any pointers, advice or zip attachements would be very much appreciated!

Thanks

Pete

Hi Pete

Select the 0282/28.2E  setting from the pick list

This should detect hundreds of channels but i discovered last night when the BBC4HD EPG stopped working that  the version on my PC does not include the current  location of  BBC HD channels (Non  Sky) which are on :-

1=10847,V,23000,50,S2,8PSK

2=11023,H,23000,61,S2,8PSK

The ini files containing the frequency information are located in C:\Program Files\NextPVR5\data\tuning\DVB-S.

You can edit the 0282 file using notepad and insert the above but you may need to amend the numbering sequence.
You need to change the EPG source to Freesat on the channels screen.

The channel 4 HD EPG does not exist as C4 withdrew from Freesat and it is only broadcasted by Sky.
I grab the EPG from  XMLTV [http://www.xmltv.co.uk/feed/3364] or XMLTV [http://www.xmltv.co.uk/feed/6743].

The paths are entered on the EPG sources screen  (Guide tab)
