Hi,
today I start with configuring of my home tv network and face an issue.
I have 2 HDHomerun devices with IP addresses: 192.168.100.60 and 61.
My PC with NextPVR server is with ip address: 192.168.1.138.
When I start to add devices, soft scans my network and can't find my hd devices because they are out of my pc lan range.
So my question is can I add my devices ip addresses manually (at some config file or...)?

I can think of three ways assumes you have the routing worked out properly.

1. Temporarily move your NextPVR server onto .100 and do the scan there and return. I am not positive but I don't think NextPVR will disable tuners if it can find them by IP

2. Create m3u playlists from lineup.json with a trivial script and use them as IPTV.

3. Create a simple extra

If you open this url in your browser, does it return your HDHomeRun devices?

That's cool I never thought that would work but I hooked up my extra device on a local sub net and it just works even my legacy device as a local recorder so there is a forth and better option.

Code:

2020-09-14 18:11:44.258 [DEBUG][1]      [

Basically the HDHomeRun reports it's local IP address to http://ipv4-api.hdhomerun.com/ when it starts (or the IP changes), so this API should report the devices on the network, regardless of the subnet, as long as it can access the internet.

So on top of routing between private subnets the user has to allow internet access for both subnets for this too work.

Does that subnet have access to the internet? If so, then that url should return the addresses of your device. If not, you might be out of luck since NextPVR will have no way to discover your devices.

So I can't have a way to add it manually at some config. file?
