On my Debian Linux NextPVR server I incorrectly edited the config.xml file which caused a config-broken.xml file to be generated and created a new default config.xml file. In the new config file the default paths for Live TV Buffer and Recording Directory were the default Windows file paths.

This is not a big deal as I just changed the file paths in the UI settings page to the correct ones. But shouldn't the default config.xlm contain the original file paths from the Deb installer?

Logs attached just in case. The earlier log is when I was messing with the config file I think.

Because the service runs as user nextpvr the service won't have a clue about the default folder being /home/rex/recordings This is something the installer does for you.

In this case if you had deleted config.xml and did sudo dpkg -i nextpvr-helper.deb it might have worked
