IMHO it would be really nice if there was a mechanism similar to the <extras> for importing recordings. Offsite videos can be brought in to the list that way.

This reads an xml file and adds values to the NextPVR database using the data in the xml file.

NextPVR automatically exports recording data to an xml file the data folder ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/components

You can see the format of the xml file reuired for an import by examining the content of the xml files created by NextPVR.

Yes, but would it accept a URL for the video file location or even better  <command> and <args> tags as the <extras> does. It would save having to manually download the video and then adding it to the recordings list.
