For some reason, I am not able to record the latest episode of a new series on FX.  The subject message was returned the first time, and three other times it said the recording service was not running!  V5 has been working beautifully for months now and all of a sudden I can't record a show.  Any ideas why this is happening?  To be fair, only change I made to my system was that I now use hibernation vice sleep, but I HAVE been able to successfully record shows following wake from hibernation.  Thanks.

Clear QAM regularly needs to be rescanned. Have you confirmed that these stations are still available in as clear QAM

All of my channels are currently watchable in both the web and desktop app. I have never had to rescan anything since I installed V5. Can you explain more on what you are referring to re scanning and clear QAM? Is there something else I need to check?

Your logs didn't show any valid live TV so that is new information. Clear QAM is how you would non broadcast cable stations through your HDHR and you have many more clear QAM channels then normal. Sometimes cable channels limit this access and I suspected that FX HD was now blocked or moved to a new channel.

Perhaps your HDHR logs would show more information

Ok did a channel rescan. Let's see what happens. BTW, I see it mentions HDhomerun sync errors alot in the HDHR log. I never installed any kind of HDHomerun software for my Hauppauge tuners and everything just worked perfectly. What do those errors mean?

Can you get FX HD in the Silicon Dust app? You probably need to ask on the SD forum about that error.

Ok, will check. But I think the channel re-scan fixed the issue. I set it to record a program on FX during the night, and it recorded perfectly. Thanks for that channel re-scan advice. Guess I have to do that once in a while!
