NextPVR has been working fine until today.

Today at about 9.05am I fired it up to watch Insiders on ABC (live TV) but got nothing in Kodi, and when I tried in NextPVR desktop, just a black screen. NextPVR web app throws a transcoder error when I try to watch live TV there.

I checked the decoders and tweaked to set all to LAV filters, no change.
Updated NextPVR to the latest version, no change.

At some point this morning I attempted to record Insiders: there are several .TS files in the Public Videos folder but they are all
I have a TV recording from 29 Oct which plays fine in NextPVR desktop.

Signal strength has always been fine, and I still get a good signal via the TV's built-in tuner, using the same aerial wall outlet

Thanks in advance!

If you try to record, does a new file get created? Does it have anything in it, or does it stay at zero bytes long?

Your most recent attempts to use your EyeTV tuner indicate it didn't manage to lock onto a signal, so no data would have been delivered to NextPVR:

Yes, all new recording attempts stay at 0kb file size

OK - so if it can't get a signal, would you say it looks like a hardware failure on the EyeTV tuner? As I say, the signal is fine for the TV's built in tuner. And there were no system changes overnight. (I have a recording from yesterday that's fine).

I haven't been able to run the EyeTV software successfully on this machine (installs but won't run) so I can't think of any other way of testing it.

Any other hints gratefully appreciated!

This is almost always cable related so I'd start with checking/removing splitters for the test. Sometimes you you need to reboot the PC to clear driver issues.

and also make sure you've rebooted...in case the drive has crashed, or got itself into a weird state.

Ive had the exact same thing. Was working fine until a few days ago, now transcoder error and black screen. recordings are 0 bytes, file is created in public videos  but with 0 bytes. Apple TV client is also black screen. Logs attached. I'm using a hd homerun.

Did those fix the problem? Your logs show errors connect to your HDHR which would be network related somehow nothing to do with NextPVR.
