Since earlier this week, watching with the Desktop App on Win10 x64 has been continually stuttering with the picture and audio cutting in an out very often - like the tuner cutting out. It is not happening with the web app which works fine.

It is all weird as there have been no recent updates. KB4580419 has failed to install  for the last few days so I've just installed it manually, rebooted and it made no difference. Coincidentally my bluetooth mouse has been playing up at the same time and I keep having to run the Bluetooth troubleshooter to reconnect the mouse if I don't use it for a few minutes (without even the PC going to sleep).

I am up to date with NextPVR which I think I updated on the day of release and it worked fine for a while.

Just over a week ago I upgraded the PC from 8GB -> 16GB RAM but the TV was OK for a few days after that. While troubleshooting the Bluetooth I have updated its drivers and Intel Graphics driver. I could try downgrading the graphics driver as that may have been around the same time as the issue started. The Bluetooth update was a couple of days later.

I am attaching a log in case it helps.

You have a lot of these messages
Updated OSD hash (MetaDataMouseControlsTimeline:-00:00:18:10:40SmallStatusMessage) vs (MetaDataMouseControlsTimeline:-00:00:02:10:40)

When you do see the problem, is the on-screen display popping up all the time (in response to perceived mouse movements?)
Maybe try removing the bluetooth receiver and playing back a recording to see if that helps.

Have you checked for errors in the windows event logs (Applications and System)?

I've just tried downgrading to the Gigabyte supplied Intel drivers for the motherboard and it seems to have fixed the NextPVR Desktop (but the mouse is still stuffed).

I'm happy to leave the thread at that, but if anyone is able to help with the Bluetooth Mouse problem I am all ears.

Since I last posted, the stuttering has been fine with the downgrade of the video drivers (.... or, arguably, the installation of the correct ones).

later on Saturday, I also did a lot of playing round trying and failing to disable the bluetooth in the BIOS, and I deleted the Bluetooth devices from the Device Manager. Everything then worked correctly, but I have not watched any TV since getting the mouse to work.

I started the TV up today so I could get on the exercise bike, and when I got off, I'd lost the mouse again. can NextPVR be interfering with the bluetooth mouse? I still seem to be getting the:
Code:
Updated OSD hash (MetaDataMouseControlsTimeline:-00:00:07:11:46) vs (MetaDataMouseControlsTimeline:-00:00:08:11:46)
messages in the log.

No.
I guess it's possible that your TV tuner might be interfering with your bluetooth receiver but I've not seen any such device conflicts for many years.

This kind of reminds me of a problem I have with a crappy BT keyboard (made by Rii) that sends false "down arrow" presses every minute.
Have you tried a new battery in the mouse?
Did you check you event log for any errors?
