Hello,

I have NextPVR up and running, and I'm able to watch ATSC TV both live and timeshift. The issue is with EPG not populating. I'm in the US and have an active SchedulesDirect subscription. The credentials which get me onto the website are plugged in NextPVR settings.

During/after startup NextPVR appears to successfully fetch a token from SD. I'm also able to add the correct lineup on the settings page. When EPG update is kicked off it starts but never advances from ATSC scan to SD. NextPVR just reports EPG update completing successfully with 0 added/updated.

My client is Kodi, and watching live/timeshift ATSC (OTA) TV works while EPG update is not running. If the EPG update is started while watching TV, the stream in Kodi stops after few minutes and cannot be restarted without restarting NextPVR (Kodi logs show a connection timeout). I've also noticed the DeviceHostLinux processes hang after the main process has already exited, and have to be manually killed before restarting NextPVR. I wanted to isolate the EPG update issue, so this part is not captured in the attached logs - but I can try to replicate it again if it's useful.

I'm seeing the following timeout exception in the attached nrecord.log (line 18385) but it's not clear from the context what it is failing to connect (DeviceHostLinux?)

2020-12-07 21:45:54.234 [ERROR][33]    System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out.

This hardware combo worked previously under Mint and was stable. I lost the system in an SSD crash so I'm not sure which exact version of NextPVR I had installed.

Have you set each and every channel to get its EPG from Schedules Direct?

The Auto Map option is described at the bottom of the above wiki page.

However you did your manually upgrade from 20201018 to 20201026 I suspect you either missed upgrading DeviceHostLinux. Do a full upgrade, delete the tuners from the settings page, hit the rescan devices and then do the scan on the tuners.

Thank you for the quick responses! I had missed the Auto Map step, and was able to get the EPG populated again after clean reinstall.

Happy holidays!
