Hi

When I set up a recurring recording in Kodi it's set up in NextPVR as expected with the channel showing. I'm also able to set up a new recurring recording in NextPVR which will allow me to select which channel to record. 

My issue is that I can't edit the channel on a recurring recording from Kodi as shown in the screenshot

Not sure what you are asking. Do you want to turn an EPG base channel recording to an All channels recording? I don't see an option in NextPVR to change to a single channel.

@oliroe I never heard back from you but in investigating this in Kodi I did find a Kodi bug changing this recordings type and submitted a PR to Kodi which was just approved. Perhaps that is what you are having trouble with?

Apologies, I didn't see a notification for your first reply.

My badly worded point was that a recurring recording is created from Kodi for a specific channel which is created correctly in NextPVR. A new recording entry can also be created in NextPVR against a specific channel.

What I can't do (see screenshot) is change the channel of the recurring recording created from Kodi.

That is clearer. The reason for confusion is NextPVR doesn't provide an option to change a channel of a recurring recording via the browser or API. Kodi on the other hand doesn't have the option to select an "All Channel" EPG recording without giving the option to change the channel so changing channels fail.

I believe if the API changes it will work from Kodi but this is untested.

I was wrong it seems NextPVR's API does support this, I guess it is just not that common a use case. Before IPTV moving recordings to different channels based on the EPG wasn't that common. I will enable this in Kodi.

It is risky though since it does delete all scheduled recordings and you could move it to a channel where the show isn't available. Caveat Emptor.

Understood, really appreciate your help with this. The main usage in my household is in the UK there are SD and HD versions of the same channel and it would be great to be able to change them to HD in the backend

Certain programmes are only shown on the SD version.
Currently Channel 1 is the SD and 101 HD but I heard they'll be swapped in the not too distant. I'll probably just disable the SD at that point
