Cannot access Main Menu, also some channels freezing

I ham having problems with the latest version freezing on some channels, so I decided to re-tune to check. Unfortunately I could not get to the Main Menu either by right clicking on the entry screen or by right-clicking on the Live TV screen. The menu option is there but it does nothing. Logs are attached.

For troubleshooting the freezing, is there anywhere I can see the signal strength or quality?

The signal quality messages are in device-Digital TV.log ...

I suggest ... Reboot the computer to start new log files ... Recreate the channel freeze problem ... and then look in the logs.

These types of problems are usually due to reception issues ... Test by removing splitters and extension coax cables.

It's worth noting that the drivers for some devices are unable to report quality/strength and just hard coded to report 100 all the time. Given these are both 100, it looks like this may be one of those device.

Thanks for that. I'll have a look next time it drops out. I'll check the cabling, but it goes Aerial > 8-way booster > Internal cable to wall socket > USB adaptor, and the other TV's in the house are fine.

Any ideas on the Main Menu issue?

The tuners in computer devices are reported to be less sensitive than the tuners in televisions.  Sometimes you need a better signal during the scan but can revert to the weaker signal for Live TV and Recordings.

Is the right-click menu problem at the point shown in the screenshot here? ...

Can you recreate the problem and then post logs telling us the time that the problem occurred so that we know where to look in the logs.

I'm not really sure what you meant by this. FYI, scanning etc is done in the web app on v5, which you can access via http://localhost:8866

I did a quick double check of getting into the NextPVR.exe setting screen though, which has stuff like decoder settings etc. It seems to be working fine here. Do you maybe have multiple monitors, and maybe it's come up on another screen?

I have rebooted and I have tried a number of times to get into the settings. I know it used to work, but probably had not tried with the current version until today. My wife is on the PC with the tuner at the moment .... It is a single monitor set up.

I did rescan with the web app. I am just used to the v4 way of doing it so I automatically go to settings that way first off.

Sounds like an issue starting live tv in NextPVR not the web. If my tuner isn't working and I use the mouse click to start I can get a black screen that won't go away.

Live TV works for me on the desktop app, just not the settings.
