I am running latest NextPVR in Docker on my DS720+ Synology NAS (64bit quad core 2.7Ghz with 6GB) with HDHomeRun Expand (4 tuners).
Was scanning through my logfiles and found some errors/warnings... do not know what they mean but maybe it's of interest to you, maybe some kind of bug(s).
You can find my exported log here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ss3wrl2xjhb7zq....html?dl=0
If I can help you with more info and/or testing let me know.

Things I have noticed are:
-TS continuity counter indicates missing packets
-System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index and count must refer to a location within the buffer
-ERROR: resource locked by 192.168.11.100 -> related to fact some channels are encrypted like all 'Film...' channels ??
-ARGH!! table_id=0x.. (several id's)
-[8] writer.Close() did not complete in a timely fashion -> btw what are those numbers between [...]
-Unexpected error downloading artwork: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
-PowerManagement ScheduleWakeup (needs implementation) -> needs implementation?
-[39;49m[94] Unexpected error processing locator for DVB EPG: System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.
-Updating EPG takes 45 minutes for example from 2020-12-27 02:45:40 till 2020-12-27 03:28:54. Is this normal for 238 channels?

Some of these mean nothing to me without more context. Here is the ones I could give you more info on:

Quote:-TS continuity counter indicates missing packets
Exactly what it said. You're experiencing some level packet loss. It is usually due to signal quality. If it's not noticably damaging recordings or live tv, then it's probably not enough to worrry about.

Quote:-PowerManagement ScheduleWakeup (needs implementation) -> needs implementation?
Power management is only implemented on Windows. ie, waking the machine from standby to record etc. Linux/Docker do not have this, so NextPVR expects the machine to already be awake when it wants to record....so leave your machine powered up.

Quote:-Unexpected error downloading artwork: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I'm aware of a bug in the current build that can cause this. It's fixed for the next build.

The default is 1 minute per frequency. The vast majority of people using the DVB EPG are using DVB-T, which means somewhere between 3-7 frequencies, so usually takes 3-7 minutes. DVB-C, with 45 frequencies could take 45 minutes. The app defaults to doing this at like 3am, for minimal distruptions. In future there will be ability to selectively disable EPG collection from specific frequencies, which works on some networks where all channel listings are carried on only one or two frequencies. For example here in NZ, all the listings are are carried on every frequency, so I can just leave one frequency enabled for EPG collection, and it'll complete in 1 minute.

Well you're absolutely right. I have had recordings problems for the last ~1,5 years and your reply was the last push to once and for all fix it... so I did some testing with splitters, new cables etc. One of the coax cables was apparently not good (made it myself Smile)... I just bought a new one with the plugs already on it. Now it works like a charm... no more TS errors. Also HDHomeRun tuner status is showing triple 100% for Signal Strength, Signal Quality and Symbol Quality.

Did a full capure and DVB inspector didn't report any errors anymore. Recording qualtiy when playing back is also perfect.
Also the "ArgumentOutOfRangeException" is related to this. DVB inspector was giving the same error when parsing the old stream capture.

Looking forward to the new build.
